LOVE but run slightly small & narrow
AngelaMarie3006· Review provided by nordstrom.com · July 21, 2024
I love the look and feel of these sneakers and I own several pairs. If I had to choose bw these and the Nike Metcon 5's, I like these a bit more in terms of comfort, support and fit - that is if you have an average to narrow foot and you get the appropriate size of course. For some reason the Nike Air max 270's are running a tad bit more narrow. I had to size up from a 9.5 to a 10 this time around, even with a very thin sock. I am always a true size 9.5 M, so you *may * want to size up 1/2 size if you have a narrow foot or wear even medium thickness socks. Again, I'm not sure if this latest pair was a 'one off' but I'm waiting for the size 10 to arrive. I just hope they're not too big/wide, bc I rarely have to size up and I have a more narrow foot. I don't use these for running outside, I use at the gym for fitness classes. I also use my Nike Metcon's at the gym for stability. I wear Brooks, New balance and Hoka's for running and forward motion. Bottom line. Recommend if you have avg to narrow foot. Size up 1/2 size from your normal Nike size. Normal size may work w/ very thin sock, but for max comfort, I would prob say size up unless your foot is quite narrow. Great overall shoe, but I collect sneakers, lol.
I really enjoy wearing these shoes and I recommend them for children or women

I love my Nike Air Max 270 for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, the sleek and stylish design of the shoe never fails to catch my eye and elevate my outfits with its modern aesthetic. The comfort level provided by the Air Max cushioning is unparalleled, offering superior support and cushioning with every step I take. Whether I'm running errands or hitting the gym, the Air Max 270's lightweight construction and breathable materials keep my feet cool and comfortable all day long. Additionally, the durability of the shoe ensures that it can withstand the demands of my active lifestyle while still looking fresh and on-trend. Overall, my Nike Air Max 270 has become an essential part of my wardrobe, seamlessly blending style and functionality in a way that no other shoe can. And it is reasonably hard for me to find a good pair of shoes because I usually wear a size 11.5 to twelve depending on the shoe if I can even find a size big enough on a certain pair of shoes

Barely wore these in the 1 and a 1/2 years I have had them. I agree with many in the reviews where they state it’s not that comfortable, which is why I wore other sneakers I own more. Once I started to wear these more, thinking I just needed to break them in, it did become a bit more wearable for me. However, it almost immediately started to tear in the big toe area. Because they are a mesh/woven style, I thought I was seeing things. Soon learned it was in fact creating a hole. I even got a size bigger as suggested here because it runs a bit smaller than true to size. Therefore, it’s not that my shoe is too small. I see they are still being sold and to my surprise almost $40 more! I have had this happen fr other Nike shoes made with the same material. I can’t continue to buy anymore shoes with these results and not able to have a warranty for the quality. They are being used in the way intended for the life of the shoe is too short.
Warning: Poor quality, fabric tore in less than 100 miles, cannot return, Nike not helpful

Dear shoe enthusiasts and concerned parents:

I must share my recent disappointment with a particular pair of shoes. These shoes, unfortunately, fall short of the esteemed Nike quality we expect. Countless dissatisfied customers, myself included, have encountered unexpected durability issues that I learned after a quick google and Reddit search. The fabric wears and tears prematurely, leaving us dismayed.

In just a month of casual use, my child's pair developed holes on the front outer side fabric, despite less than 100 miles logged. Unfortunately, the retailer refused returns, even within the return window, and asked to contact Nike.

Nike's proposed solution added to my disillusionment. They required me to pay for shipping to their facility (not at Nike store or Dicks store where I purchased) but based on reviews, most claims have been denied as "normal wear and tear." This pattern raises doubts about the value of investing more time and energy.

I implore you, dear reader, to heed this cautionary tale before purchasing these shoes. Spare yourself the potential hassle and disappointment.
