The cuffs on the legs have almost no stretch, and my dogs (recently trimmed) nails got caught in both front and back. On the hind legs, the lack of stretch made it hard for him to walk. The video shows his stiff-legged waddle. I planned to use these under his coat for morning and evening walks but he wouldn’t walk ten feet. I had to bring him back in, take it off, and then resume our walk. I measured carefully but maybe I should’ve sized up? But everything else seems to fit perfectly except the tight hind leg cuffs. I borrowed a Little Beast onesie with hind leg sleeves and he walks fine in that. These were part of my first order from SparkPaws and I feel like all their stuff is designed for a photo op but not real-world use. It’s a shame because it’s cute AF and clearly made with quality fabric. He’s very cooperative about clothing, but when he sees these, he runs away and hides in his crate. I can’t return or exchange because I already used it, but I may try stretching out or cutting off the hind leg cuffs and see if that helps. Better than wasting them.

My pibble Abigail is only about 75 lbs, I ordered the largest size available, 4XL. She is a fit girl, but short and stalky with an immense barrel-chest, and for this reason she can really only wear those horse blanket style jackets, with one strap under the belly and one across the chest- but those don’t cover her legs. These PJs are adorable, and I absolutely love that her back legs are covered, too, but it’s still a little too tight across her chest. She looks super stiff and uncomfortable when walking in it.
Still, it definitely keeps her warm and cozy, so that is appreciated (and also super cute).
I really wish there was one size up, especially since I bought two of these for her (I never opened the second one since I’m not completely sold on this fit).

My Dobermann is 13 yo, had a stomach surgery a few years ago and needs pajamas and coats. Also, we live in a cold and very rainy humid climate and Dobermanns love blankets and love to stay warm and cozy.
She is used to wearing coats and pajamas. This is quite warm ( I didn’t expect that!) and very soft.
My Dobermann is smaller than the average size and she is only 25kg. I purchased 4XL because usually dog clothes don’t fit Dobermann’s wide chest and I read other reviews that suggested to size up for a Dobermann. I think a 3XL would’ve be just fine but it’s not a big deal. She will wear it in winter.

Was a little disappointed on the sizing as we had something else from spark paws for the same dog. We simply ordered the same size but the other item we already owned was wayyy bigger so it did mean we had to exchange the size unfortunately. The process to do this was hassle free but being international just means it takes time to receive the new sized item. Something that could be avoided with more consistent sizing across items.

But overall the quality and item are perfect and we will definitely buy from spark paws again!
