I had a new vinyl bay window installed, replacing my wooden windows. I didn't want to drill them, so I used the 3M strip. It's been up for almost four weeks, and so far, so good. Doing it myself, it's not perfectly centered, but it's good enough to do the job. It pulls down and pushes up very easily. I'll wait to see if the strip holds, as I've read other reviewers comments about the shade falling. If necessary, Velcro Alfa-Lok comes in white, and that would be the perfect solution.
